I have been spending a lot of time on Stellaris these days so I missed the last update of World Chef. Stellaris is a brand new 4x strategy game from Swedish developer Paradox Interactive, and I highly recommend the game. You take control of your own civilisation in space and you are able to play with 32 other players on the same server.
I am currently working on a strategy guide for Stellaris which I really hope you decide to check out if you are going to get the game. I will write lots of articles on how to progress fast in the game, about the best ethos and traits, the best government types, battles and taking control of the galaxy.
Anyways, back to the World Chef update. April 25. they released a new update with lots of exciting features. Now you are actually able to follow your favourite restaurants and see what is happening in them, something which is really useful. When you visit your restaurants that you are not friends with, you are able to tap a follow button. Then you can keep track of what is going on with the restaurant in the future, a really nice feature for sure.
The biggest and most exciting stuff they added to the game however has to be the Scandinavian chef. I am from Scandinavia, so adding a chef that makes some of the food I remember from home is really awesome. You can see the photos of the Scandinavian chef above, he kind of look like a viking which is really cool.
At the moment of release he costs 120,000 gold to hire, really expensive for sure. It will also take 46 hours from you hire him until he is available. He does have to travel all the way from Scandinavia after all. The food he can cook right now is the salmon sandwich, meat balls, pea soup and caviar canapés.
Please let me know what you think about the new update if you get the chance to check it out. Also I would love to hear what you think about the Stellaris strategy game. Stellaris is not for tablets or phone, it is for Windows, Linux and Mac only. I would think that most of the visitors here have access to a computer as well though, that’s why I thought I’d mention the game here.
I currently just started with Stellaris and I am certainly having a lot of fun with it so far, it is simply one of the best strategy games I have ever played. I am sure most of you guys would really enjoy the game as well.
